City Entertainment provides professional DJs - mobile disc jockey services for All your special events, with a specialty in DJ entertainment for wedding receptions and wedding ceremonies! Our service area includes, but is not limited to all cities throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. We travel anywhere!

With an extensive music library, we can play everything including Big Band, Polka, Oldies (from the 50s, 60s, and 70s), Disco, Classic Rock, plus hits from the 80s and 90s. We can arrange a music program to include interactive dance songs like the Chicken Dance, Hokey Pokey, Electric Slide, Hustle, Macarena, YMCA or even the Limbo. Your DJ will also arrive with the latest mainstream pop and dance music because we constantly update our music library to stay on top of new music!

In our total music library we have over 5,000 CDs with over 15,000 songs. Our music consists entirely of digital recordings on CD and Mini Disc. Many of our CDs are the typical store-bought variety like you probably have yourself, many are DJ-only discs that we use with a licensing agreement from the record labels. Some of our music is on compilations we've created taking only the popular songs from other recordings to save space.

We always guarantee our clients 'Top Ten Songs' and we've never had a problem with not having the right music on hand at an event. You may even want to request certain songs NOT be played, it's your event and we are here to accommodate in any way we can. Your DJ Entertainer can also incorporate quest requests and put out request slips at your reception. This means that all of your guests will also play a major role in selecting the dance music at your celebration.

A huge variety of music is brought to every event - at least three thousand songs. To put that in perspective, consider this: We can play around 10-15 songs per hour, all told less than 100 songs at most events, so choosing the right MIX of music is very important. During your event consultation we will assist you in your music selection and tailor a variety of music specifically to your event!
